Susan has been teaching in various forms for over twenty-five years and
currently teaches fashion tech at a local college. Learn basic techniques,
machine operation, trend interpretation, and much more.
Beginning... This
class will teach you the basic function and care of your machine and sewing
tools. Students will begin to build a binder of samples, sometimes called a
portfolio. This is not a crafts class and is for the beginning student interested
in creating fashion.
Class time is three hours. Cost is $
85. There is a six student limit.

Hem Class...In just two hours you will learn how to do the hems for you and
your family's clothing. Learn how to properly shorten jeans, trousers, sleeves,
etc. Class time is two hours, cost is $60.

Zipper Class... This two hour class will teach you several types of zipper
applications, including lapped, invisible and fly. Tricks and tips learned will
take your sewing skills to the next level. $60.

Make A Skirt... From a Frock pattern custom made for you. Choose dirndl or
tulip and the type of  pockets. Elastic waist in a casing. Two and a half hour
class, $45 or $60 with material provided.

Fingerless Gloves and a Flower Brooch...
Fun for everyone! All the materials
for this class are provided. Makes a great party! One and a half hours, $35.

Reversible Camisole... Using a Frock pattern made based on your
measurements you will learn how to make a simple bias garment with
spaghetti straps. I recommend wearing a strapless bra or a bra with pretty
straps to class. Three hours, materials provided, $60.
